Development Startup Lab
DSL was born in an effort to empower a local team whose first mission is to expand the work that IDEA4Africa has been doing through a partnership with Ecole de Science de Byimana and Wheaton College based in the United States.
IDEA4Africa was conceived after fifteen years of working to stimulate and catalyze young entrepreneurs in four Sub-Saharan African countries: Ghana, Rwanda, Uganda and Tanzania.
In Rwanda, through the WILL seminar, a summer Bootcamp hosted in Byimana in August of every year since 2014, IDEA4Africa has been able to entrepreneurship education in Rwanda. This project has impacted over 1500 students since it started and has paved a way for more initiatives like the global entrepreneurship Week that came to strengthen the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Rwanda.
DSL is coming to build synergy around the work and investments of different partner interested in empowering the youth to drive development through entrepreneurship and ensure a lasting impact.

Idea Week Lab
The Idea Week Lab is a one-week intensive entrepreneurship workshop where high school graduates are introduced to entrepreneurial problem-solving approaches and to ways of identifying opportunities in different spheres of life.
